A gentle natural
formulation topical ointment suitable for people that maybe
prone to experiencing psoriasis, dry type eczema and atopic
dermatitis. This natural product is suitable for all
dry forms of : atopic eczema (atopic dermatitis),
dyshidrotic eczema (pompholyx eczema), discoid eczema
(nummular eczema) and xerotic eczema (asteatotic eczema).
The ointment can also be used as a general moisturisor by
people that are prone to experiencing dry, red, itchy or
inflamed skin (general dermatitis).
What is dry
type eczema ? : Dry type eczema is where the
eczematous skin is uncomfortably dry and not producing any
form of exudate (clear or honey coloured liquid). Often the
skin will also be very itchy and sometimes flakey. If you
are prone to experiencing wet type 'exudative' eczema that
produces a clear or honey coloured fluid from the skin
lesions, then the ointment is not suitable. Instead please
use the natural formula eczema gel which is formulated
for wet type eczema. The ointment is also suitable for
people with dry, red and inflamed lips and can be used
as a lip balm.
About the natural
formula psoriasis and dry type eczema ointment : The
natural formula ointment is made with natural ingredients
and does not contain any animal products, preservatives,
artificial fragrances or colours. It is a thick, brown
coloured, highly moisturising ointment with a noticeable
pungent 'earthy' fragrance. Hence, for people that are more
accustomed to perfumed or odor neutral products, it is
recommended that you use the more fragrantly formulated
50g psoriasis
and eczema ointment instead. However, this product
is an excellent starting point for people who experience
psoriasis and eczema as it assists in de-toxing the
skin, a most essential aspect of recovery. The 30g
ointment is then often later followed with use of the
50g psoriasis
and eczema ointment as the skin improves and the
levels of toxins are reduced. Alternatively it is
suggested that the 50g
ointment is applied during the day and the 30g ointment
is applied at night.
Psoriasis and dry type
eczema ointment instructions :
Locally apply a small quantity of psoriasis and eczema
ointment to the affected area regularly throughout the day
and before sleeping. Repeat as necessary. Please note after
taking a hot shower or bath it is best to allow the skin to
cool to normal temperature before applying the psoriasis
and eczema ointment. Important : this
natural product contains herbal ingredients that stimulate
local blood supply where it is applied. Therefore after
applying the ointment you may notice a temporary increase
in redness or a heating sensation - this is completely
normal and a desirable effect. Please continue usage of the
ointment.
How to combine the
psoriasis and eczema ointment with the other products in
the natural formula range : The psoriasis and eczema
ointment can be used either by itself or for maximum effect
in combination with the natural formula psoriasis and
eczema sprays and soaps. When the ointment is applied
following an application of either one of the natural
formula sprays, the ointment is much more readily absorbed
into the skin and the natural therapeutic ingredients of
the products combine to provide the best effect. For the
same reason, it is recommended that you use the psoriasis
and eczema ointment with the natural formula psoriasis or
eczema soap (depending on the type of problem skin you are
prone to experiencing). Please see the guidelines below :
How to
choose the right natural formula products for you :
For psoriasis : use the ointment with the
psoriasis & dry
type eczema soap & 30ml spray
or 50ml spray
For dry type eczema : use the ointment
with the psoriasis & dry
type eczema soap & 30ml spray
or 50ml spray
Instructions on
combining your psoriasis and dry type eczema ointment with
the other natural formula products. Morning : 1)
wash with the natural formula soap suitable for you (see
above) 2) wash again with your natural formula soap and
allow the suds to absorb for 10 minutes. 3) rinse and dry
the skin on the face only. 4) apply a thin layer of your
psoriasis and eczema ointment to the affected area. 5)
apply psoriasis and eczema ointment as required throughout
the day. Evening : repeat steps 1 - 4.

: Rhizoma Coptidis, Radix Arnebia, Radix
Sanguisorbae, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Flos Lonicerae,
Radix Sophorae Flavescentis, Myristica Oil, Isopropanol.
Notes on
using the ointment :
• The ointment contains herbal ingredients that promote
local blood circulation in the skin, therefore you may
experience some temporary redness after using the ointment
- this is normal.
• At lower temperatures a fine white crytsalisation layer
may appear on the surface of the cream. This is normal as
the ointment does not contain any artificial stabilising
ingredients. If this occurs the beneficial nature of the
ointment is not affected.
